Mission Innovation: Integrated Biorefineries Webinar 2
Bringing together communities interested in biorefineries research and innovation and developing consortia.
Recording now available
Mission Innovation: Integrated Biorefineries Webinar 2 picks up where we left off in January 2024, but this time bringing to the forefront the EC Programme on Biorefineries – Development of smart concepts of integrated energy driven bio-refineries for co-production of advanced biofuels, bio-chemicals and biomaterials (HORIZON-CL5-2024-D3-02-03).
Watch our first webinar to set the scene where you can find out more about the international collaborative interactions in biorefining and to get a better understanding of the Mission Innovation: Integrated Biorefineries vision, motivators, key actors and drivers.
About the event
The HORIZON-CL5-2024-D3-02-03 funding call aims to support the development of smart concepts for integrated energy-driven bio-refineries that co-produce advanced biofuels, bio-chemicals, and biomaterials. Projects funded through this call focus on expanding cost-effective biofuel production concepts, reducing costs, improving efficiency, supporting de-risking, and accelerating the availability of competitive and zero-waste production concepts.
Please note the deadline date for the submission of proposals to the Commission programme is the 21st January 2025 17:00 Brussels time.
So this brings us on nicely to this webinar and its objectives:
- To bring together the communities interested in biorefineries research and innovation and who may be interested in developing consortia and in applying to the EC programme, covering interests in biofuels, chemicals and materials manufacturing.
- To promote awareness of the forthcoming EC programme, especially in the UK, Canadian and Indian academic and business community.
- To better understand the requirements of the EC programme competition including eligibility, how the appraisal mechanism will work and other likely requirements.
To provide a forum for identification of potential collaborative partners in the UK, Canada and India and to help facilitate this we propose to use the following networking platform B2Match (to be confirmed).
