UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) is pleased to announce the launch of the upcoming SBRI Healthy Ageing Social Ventures Competition, from UKRI and our Healthy Ageing Challenge.
Webinar recording is now available
The healthy ageing market we are investing in is very diverse. It ranges from helping people remain physically active through to managing the impacts of ageing, such as hearing loss and cognitive impairment. On the way, innovations will help people live independently in their own homes for longer and enable them to remain engaged with their communities. These solutions will address the Healthy Ageing’s ‘seven themes of ageing’ which are described here.
Launching on 19th July, the competition aims to help you achieve your mission by awarding a total of £4m. Grants for eligible project costs will be allocated across two funding streams:
Healthy Ageing Social Ventures feasibility studies (up to £50k)
Healthy Ageing Social Ventures industrial research (£50k-£150k)
To find out more about how the SBRI for Social Ventures will work and how businesses can apply and what UKRI are seeking please watch the recording of our pre-engagement webinar below.
