Shaping the National Service Robotics Proving Ground Facilities
Join us to help shape the future for service robotics in the UK and share your vision for the UK’s next generation of robotics proving ground facilities.
Following the success of ISCF Robots for a Safer World Challenge with over 100 Innovate UK projects funded and robots deployed under the ocean, into space and helping to decommission nuclear sites, Innovate UK are now expanding their vision for service robotics, how they are tested and proved to be safe and effective.

Workshops
We will be hosting 3 identical workshops on 31st January, 2nd and 3rd February 2022 to capture your views on the additional activities that could take place at the Service Robotics Proving Ground Facilities. The thoughts you share with us in these workshops will also be disseminated at the ‘Shaping the National Service Robotics Proving Ground Facilities’ feedback event on Thursday 10th February 2022.
NB: Please register for only 1 workshop of your choice and the feedback event on 10 February 2022 will also be automatically included.
Feedback event
Innovate UK KTN on behalf of Innovate UK are delighted to invite you to our ‘Shaping the National Service Robotics Proving Ground Facilities’ feedback event on Thursday 10th February 2022. To inspire you, we will tour a handful of the UK’s existing robotics test facilities. We will also give feedback on the key findings to date from our scoping study interviews with test facilities, robotics developers, and robotics end-users.
Why attend ‘Shaping the National Service Robotics Proving Ground Facilities’ event?
- See what facilities already exist across the UK
- Hear the latest findings of our UK robotics test facilities interviews which explore what facilities already exist as well as the needs of robotics developers and end-users to identify gaps in the market
- Speak with the UK’s robotics community
- Discover a range of plans and ideas for upgrading UK service robotics test facilities
- Find out about the competition winners of the SBRI UK National Robotics Proving Ground: Feasibility studies
Why attend the workshop?
Have your say on what additional activities you would like to see taking place in UK national service robotics facilities
Speak with a variety of the UK’s robotics test facilities, robotics developers, and robotics end-users
