The Covid Business Series: What works for work has been co-developed and delivered by KTN and the ESRC. It aims to bring together industry leaders and practitioners with researchers and academics to discuss emerging procedures, policies, tools, and tactics for a variety of business workplaces; and provide employers and employees with actionable insights that attendees can use at work.
In this session, we’ll be exploring inclusive working environments with our expert panel, including practical steps that organisations and individuals can take to turn theory into reality.
About our speakers
- Dr Lynda Song, Professor and Head of Management Department | Leeds University Business School
Lynda’s main research interests include leadership, human resource management, emotional intelligence and creativity. Lynda has established a stakeholder group of three NHS organisations and BAME networks participating in co-production of this research.
- Dr Ahmed Mostafa, Associate Professor | Leeds University Business School
Ahmed and has carried out several research projects related to employee wellbeing in the healthcare sector utilising methodologies based on surveys and interviews. He published in the areas of HRM and employee wellbeing.
- Dr Kirsty Hewitson, Executive Director – Capability | Innovate UK KTN
Kirsty is responsible for leading teams across a wide range of sectors including materials, manufacturing, robotics, space and security. KTN’s mission is to connect ideas, people and communities to respond to challenges and drive positive change through innovation. KTN’s diverse connections span business, government, funders, research and the third sector. Kirsty is also currently a Director and Executive Committee member of Women in Nuclear that is driving gender equality across the nuclear sector.
