About the events
Funded by Innovate UK, the Creative Edge of Innovation is a six-week programme bringing together innovators from across the creative industries to connect, network and build use cases demonstrating cross-sector collaboration and commercial potential.
This programme is designed to facilitate inspirational knowledge exchange by connecting business founders and the alumni of Innovate UK programmes with successful leaders and experts who will share their experience in converging technologies and cross sub-sector use cases.
Aims:
- Foster cross-industry collaboration: To encourage innovative partnerships and knowledge sharing among innovators from different creative industries.
- Drive commercial success: To equip innovators with the tools and networks to develop commercially viable creative solutions.
- Unlock innovation potential: To stimulate innovative thinking and idea generation at the intersections of creative industries.
- Promote business expertise: To integrate business acumen into creative endeavours, ensuring practical applications and market relevance.
- Inspire and connect: To create a supportive environment for innovators to connect, network, and learn from industry leaders.
Who Can Attend?
- Businesses in the creative industries with a commercial product or service, looking to understand collaboration opportunities or explore new content creation avenues.
- Up to two individuals from each business may attend. The individuals who attend must be founders, owners or senior leaders/decision makers.
- NB: At least one individual from each business MUST attend each session to ensure continuity throughout the programme.
This event is not aimed at:
- Academia
- Research Technology Organisations
- Government/NGOs
- Businesses without a live commercial product or service.
NB: Expressions of interest are now closed, as attendees are expected to attend all events in the series. Recordings of the online sessions will be made available to registered attendees.
