Nigeria is one of Africa’s most vibrant and dynamic fashion markets. Both the UK and Nigeria share a common goal – to create a high impact, innovative but socially responsible fashion industry. This trip aims to lay the foundation for an Innovate UK UK–Nigeria Circular Fashion Innovation Network fostering relationships and opportunities for future collaboration within the industry. 

On 28th September 2023, the Global Alliance Africa project, delivered by Innovate UK, held an Energy Exchange workshop in Cape Town, South Africa to bring together British and South African experts in green hydrogen, electric vehicles and renewable energy.

Innovate UK is the UK’s innovation agency, and we support the innovation journey for many thousands of businesses each year. In 2022/23 we reached and supported more innovators across the UK than ever before, and we continue to extend that reach through building and improving our portfolio of opportunities. We also expanded Innovate UK networks, events, and online interactions.

Innovate UK, part of UK Research and Innovation, is to fund up to £6 million in innovation projects to support growth within the creative industries.
