Earth Observation (EO) – including satellite data and drone imaging – is used to support innovation across agriculture and food production, from monitoring weather conditions and improving in-field decision making to managing supply chains. African countries are now developing world-leading expertise in these space technologies.

We are thrilled to announce that CyberASAP will be back for a seventh year. The programme is aimed at supporting the development of cybersecurity innovations across the UK.

On 8th March 2023 in Sandton, South Africa, the Global Alliance Africa team hosted an evening Business Mixer as an opportunity for guests to network and identify new collaborative opportunities. In Sandton, South Africa on 8 March 2023, Global Alliance Africa celebrated International Women’s Day and hosted the ‘More than a Woman’ Showcase with an exciting project pitch session where women innovators would share their ideas with a gathering of investors, ecosystem enablers, and support organisations from across the UK and Africa, to help them scale their solutions to the world.

Congratulations to Thuso Motau, CEO and Founder, Mighty House of Soap, who was an Award Winner for Best Township Innovation and received £4000 in investment funding for continuing her business venture!
