Towards the end of 2020, inspired by some of the great women we know and motivated by the gender gap in Manufacturing, the Manufacturing team at KTN felt compelled to do more to amplify the role women play in UK Manufacturing and showcase the excellent work they do.

A Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) between the University of Exeter and Smart Manufacturing Ltd is playing a direct and key role in the production process of the new COVID-19 vaccine.

Start preparing to form collaborative partnerships and to bid into the next Framework Programme of funding calls. Association will give UK scientists, researchers and businesses access to funding under the programme on equivalent terms as organisations in EU countries. The next step is for both sides to formally adopt the full text of the agreement taking into account the finalised EU Programme Regulations.

This session will review issues, discussions and next steps from across the previous four thematic workshops. Based on these, we’ll prioritise the areas on which we’d like to focus, and agree key deliverables and milestones.
