Digital Health Technology Catalyst Briefing Event

Alder Hey Innovation Service, with support from KTN and local partners, are hosting a briefing event for Innovate UK on Round 2 of the Digital Health Technology Catalyst (DHTC) funding on 15th February 2018.

Round 2 is focused on projects in the research and development phases rather than feasibility phase so project proposals between £300K and £1 million are sought. The total funding available in this round is £8 million.

Innovate UK, as the government’s innovation agency, is tasked with driving innovations that will grow the UK economy. In health and life sciences, Innovate UK runs a number of competitions including the Digital Health Technology Catalyst which is sponsored by the government to spearhead digital innovations in healthcare. One component of this is a series of funding rounds aimed at SMEs to develop digital solutions in healthcare. In the next DHTC funding round launching mid February, a total of £8M will be made available to support collaborative Experimental Research and Industrial Development projects of up to 30 months duration. Each project can apply for funding up to a maximum of £1M.
