Building the World’s First Compound Semiconductor Cluster
The Wales Festival of Innovation has teamed up with CS Connected to showcase exciting developments in the compound semiconductor sector.
As part of Wales Week in London, the Wales Festival of Innovation and CS Connected will be hosting an event on the 7th March to explore the opportunities compound semiconductors bring for organisations.
Compound semiconductors are driving future technologies. From the connected world, the Internet of Things to robotics, autonomous vehicles and healthcare technologies, compound semiconductors are and will continue to impact the way we live, work and spend our leisure time.
With around £300m of investment committed to date, the United Kingdom Government, the devolved Welsh Government, the EPSRC, Cardiff University and private investors have come together with industry leaders IQE, SPTS, Newport Wafer Fab and Microsemi to establish the world’s first Compound Semiconductor cluster, with its hub in South Wales – CS Connected.
Showcasing exciting developments in the compound semiconductor sector in South Wales, this event is your opportunity to get the inside track on the latest developments and how your company can benefit.
