Calling multi sector Innovators from Birmingham
Calling innovators working in energy, financial services, insurance, pensions, property, retail and banking.
KTN are look for innovators from a diverse range of sectors such as energy, financial services, VCs, insurance, pensions, property, retail, banks and telecommunications to help drive the UK’s Ageing Society Grand Challenge.
More than 10 million people in the UK today can expect to see their 100th birthday, compared to the 15,000 centenarians today. Ageing populations are a global phenomenon that are creating new opportunities for products and services, including beautiful products that older consumers find easy and enjoyable to use, different housing models and innovative savings products for later life.
Through its Ageing Society Grand Challenge the government has committed to invest in harnessing the power of innovation to meet the needs and develop the opportunities that result from demographic change.
We are inviting stakeholders to register their interest in attending a healthy ageing pre-competition briefing event in Birmingham on the 2nd of May.
The Healthy Ageing Grand Challenge is supported by the Healthy Ageing Industrial Strategy Challenge Fund (ISCF), which has set aside £98 million to drive development of new solutions that will help people live in their homes for longer and increase their independence and wellbeing.
