'Discover new markets' export workshop - final chance to register
Final chance to register to attend this all-sector export workshop for firms across the East of England.
Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Combined Authority are hosting an exporting workshop to support East of England businesses looking to start exporting or improve their exporting strategy.
Contributors to the event include the Department for International Trade (DIT), North America & Australia; India (SannamS4); Eastern Europe (Your Export Department); UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) Innovate UK; Signpost2Grow; Knowledge Transfer Network (KTN); Enterprise Europe Network (EEN); Santander, Cambridgeshire Chambers of Commerce and Radical Sportscars Ltd.
The event will feature 25-minute bitesize workshops covering a range of topics including exporting to, India, Australia, North America, raising funding and forging sustainable international partnerships
John Stenhouse, Growth Hub Manager at Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Combined Authority, said: “Whether you’re new to exporting or have years of experience behind you, the Discover New Markets event has something for everyone. Our workshops are fast paced and dynamic and cover a broad range of topics in one morning.
“We’re looking forward to partnering up with networks such as DIT, as this will enable us to offer deeper knowledge and advice to local businesses.”
Alan Pain, Regional Director for DIT East of England, said: “The event will be a perfect opportunity for firms to learn how to kickstart or improve their exporting strategy. There will be a large number of speakers with a vast range of knowledge related to exporting and I’d urge local businesses of all sizes and sectors to come down.
“Workshops like these are a great way for businesses to forge new contacts and enhance their exporting knowledge. For firms looking to export, we have 30 international trade advisers based in the region to offer support as well as hosting events and training to help businesses as part of our Exporting is GREAT campaign.”
