Expression of Interest: Robotics and Artificial Intelligence 4Manufacturing

KTN is organising a series of events to support manufacturers who are at the start of their 4IR journey.

 

4manufacturing is a new approach, developed by Knowledge Transfer Network (KTN) in partnership with the industry, to help manufacturers innovate.

The manufacturing landscape is radically changing and the fourth industrial revolution which is happening now has resulted in a need for significant change within the sector to capitalise on the opportunities #4IR brings.

With this in mind, the KTN is organising a series of events to support manufacturers who are at the start of their 4IR journey looking to engage with digital manufacturing opportunities to realise the potential that these developments can bring to productivity and business.

In the first event of the series, we will focus on data, robotics and artificial intelligence.

The workshop will present existing manufacturing case studies demonstrating the importance of data collection, how processes can be optimised using robotics, and the use of intelligent supply chains using artificial intelligence.
