The free event aims to make it easier and speedier for businesses to get hold of the money they need to grow – whether that is a start-up loan right through to a multi-million pound equity deal.
A programme of workshops¬†in advance of the event¬†will¬†help prepare delegates¬†to make the most of the meetings, focusing on strengthening their¬†proposition, considering what kind of finance would work¬†best and polishing pitching¬†skills.¬†Support is tailored to each company’s¬†objectives,¬†size, sector and previous experience of raising finance.
Delegates are then matched to potential investors who they meet in person at a high-energy event on Wednesday 24 May at Ramside Hall, Durham.
FinanceCamp has been designed by a cross section of businesses and organisations keen to strengthen the economy of North East England. It is delivered by the Innovation SuperNetwork as part of a range of activities to create competitive advantage for regional companies through innovation.
