Highways UK pitch lists announced
KTN sat on the judging panel for Highways UK’s two annual innovation competitions, and the shortlist has now been announced
Two innovation competitions have been run by Highways UK leading towards live pitching to a panel at this year’s Highways UK event at the NEC on 6-7 November.
KTN played a role in judging the entries to arrive at shortlists in both the Intelligent Infrastructure Challenge (IIC), sponsored by Costain, and in the Civils and Materials Innovation Hub (CMIH ), sponsored by AECOM and supported by the Mineral Products Association.
The  IIC shortlist can be found here and the CMIH shortlist here.
Shortlisted organisations will be invited to offer their elevator pitches and face an interview from an expert panel of judges in a series of category finals running throughout Highways UK. Category winners will enter a final from which the judges will select the overall competition winners.  KTN will be involved in the selection of the category and overall winners.
KTN will be at Highways UK 2019 along with Innovate UK Рyou can visit Innovate UK’s Innovation Hub and talk to us about opportunities in the innovation support landscape.  The Hub will also feature a selection of companies who won funding from the Highways England £20m Air Quality and Innovation competitions.
You can register for the event here (it runs 6-7 November at the NEC in Birmingham).
