Introducing the CyberASAP Programme Year 7!

The programme is aimed at supporting the development of cybersecurity innovations across the UK. CyberASAP is a highly acclaimed programme that has helped teams turn their cybersecurity ideas into successful businesses. We are excited to see what this year’s cohort will bring.

The CyberASAP Programme 2023 is open to all UK universities, offering an excellent opportunity for academic teams to accelerate their cybersecurity innovations from research to market. The programme is designed to support participants in identifying a viable commercial route for their research, offering intensive training and support throughout the process.

This year, as last, we welcome applications from PETRAS projects, part of UKRI’s programme focused on Security of Digital Technology at the Periphery (SDTaP), alongside those in the usual “open” competition.

The programme provides bespoke mentoring and training from industry experts with participants receiving guidance on market analysis, intellectual property protection, business planning, and more. The CyberASAP team will help teams to identify potential investors and partners to help bring their cybersecurity innovations to market.

The CyberASAP Programme 2023 is funded by the UK Government’s Department for Science, Innovation and Technology (DSIT), and delivered in partnership with Innovate UK & Innovate UK KTN. The programme has a proven track record of success, with previous participants achieving significant milestones, including investment, patents, and successful commercialisation of their products.

We welcome applications from all UK universities and invite teams to submit their proposals at the latest by Wednesday 19 April 2023 at 11:00 am. The successful teams will be announced in April, with a programme start date of 9 May 2023.
