KTN Presented at the “Sciences on tap” interactive Seminar in Shanghai

Dr Liqun Yang from KTN presented “How Smart will we be – how sensors, IoT and big-data may change our life in future?” at Sciences on Tap.

Dr Liqun Yang (Knowledge Transfer Manager, Sensors) from KTN and Dr Graham Kerr of CENSIS jointly represented an interactive “Science on tap” workshop focusing on smart technology & system at British Consulate in Shanghai on 12th September. The workshop was part of an event series organised by Science & Innovation Network of FCO to promote the UK profile and expertise in sciences and innovations to local young entrepreneurs.

There were 60 young people present of various backgrounds and at different stages of their careers. Dr Yang presented “How Smart will we be – how sensors, IoT and big-data may change our life in future?”, and answered questions from the participants.

The presentations were well received by the workshop participants and attracted a wide array of questions resulting in some interesting discussions.
