KTN speakers at major health conferences
KTN are delighted to be involved in two forthcoming events on pharmaceuticals and medical technology.
Head of the KTN Health Team¬†Terry O‚ÄôNeill will join Digital Catapult‘s Andrew Chapman & Innovate UK‘s Karen Spink at the GIANT Health event Pharma track panel on Support for Pharma Innovation & Collaboration, a discussion on the priority themes and support available in the UK and other markets.
Innovating in medical interventions is increasingly important as the burden of care from chronic conditions and preventable lifestyle diseases continues to grow. GIANT are actively supporting new kinds of intervention that integrate medicines and medical devices with digital technologies to improve patient outcomes. That is why we are pleased to support the agenda of the inaugural Pharma track at GIANT Health Event.
GIANT Health Event takes place at the Truman Brewery, London 28th-30th November 2017. There are 8 tracks and 3 days of presentations, exhibitions, demos and networking. The Pharma track takes place on the Main stage of Day 1 and is entitled ‚ÄúA New Prescription for Sustainable Pharma Innovation.” Event tickets are available at¬†¬†https://www.eventbrite.com/e/the-giant-health-event-2017-tickets-29361304452 – you can get 3-day tickets discounted with code¬†GIANT-MB_half-price¬†(but note there are already special ticket prices for students and clinicians).
Secondly, Director Sue Dunkerton OBE is chairing a panel at the Genesis 2017 Medtech Boardroom called Realising the Potential for UK MedTech on December 14th. The MedTech Boardroom is deliberately positioned as a board room as each session is chaired by a thought leader Рin this case our very own Sue Dunkerton. The small group format is to encourage strategic and operational best practice debate, providing key insights, tips and advice to those executives developing their success strategies in the MedTech field.
Genesis 2017 will build on the previous 16 years of experience in assembling a forum where industry executives, investors, academic researchers, policymakers and the expert advisers can exchange and debate their collective insight in order to provide true thought leadership for the sector, themselves and their stakeholders.
Under the overarching theme of “From Bio-Innovation to Health and Wealth Delivery in Tomorrow’s World”, the 17th Annual Genesis Conference will take place on Thursday 14 December 2017 in London. The event will again engage all the key elements for those active in R&D, finance, policy making and service provision across Life Sciences, Digital and Health Technology fields in creating a vision of where the sector is heading. Over 70 expert speakers and panellists will lead sessions discussing which approaches will deliver better outcomes for patients, investors and payers.
