Mayor of London’s TechInvest – Health Tech
Call for applications is now open for innovative organisations to present at Health Tech.
The next event in the Mayor of London’s TechInvest programme will be ‘TechInvest 6: Health Tech’, which will focus on entrepreneurs using data-driven and digital technologies to revolutionise health and care across London. TechInvest Health Tech will see presentations to investors from 10 of the leading London-based digital and data-driven start-up and scale-ups that are converging technologies with medicine and healthcare to improve the efficiency and delivery of prediction, prevention, diagnosis, treatment and care. TechInvest are seeking London-based start-ups and scale-ups that are offering highly innovative and disruptive digital health solutions and who are actively seeking equity investment. Entrepreneurs should be able to demonstrate that their innovation solves an identified problem or need, has a clear addressable market and can show a strong capacity for growth and scale. The showcase will be taking place in February 2019.
To be considered eligible to apply you have to be a start-up, early stage or scaling-up business that demonstrates cutting-edge Health Tech solutions that positively impact the lives of London’s communities. Businesses should also be able to demonstrate that they are converging digital and data-driven technologies with medicine and healthcare to improve the efficiency and delivery of prediction, prevention, diagnosis, treatment and care. Judges will select the ten best applications which show potential to scale; those businesses will have the opportunity to pitch and network to an audience of over 120 Angel Investors, VC’s and industry elites.
