Meet the innovators shaping the future of the creative economy
The countdown is on to the Innovate UK Create Growth Programme Showcase event where 11 innovative companies will present their tech and solutions across a diverse spectrum of creative industries. From digital media (music and publishing), to marketing, health, gaming and sustainable fashion, this event will spotlight emerging trends and the potential of these selected companies set to shape the future of the creative economy.
Founder-investor networking opportunities
The Showcase Day marks the third year of the programme and will showcase the high growth potential of the creative companies through presentations and demos throughout the day. The event will be hosted by the Innovate UK and Department for Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) on Tuesday, 15 October at Level39 in London.
This Showcase event is aimed at investors looking to explore the creative industries sector and offers a unique opportunity to experience the convergence of technology, creativity and innovation.
Investing in the creative industries has often been challenging for traditional investors as it requires a blend of a deep understanding of both technology and cultural trends and portfolio risk management in an unpredictable market place. We’d like to bring together like-minded and curious investors to hear from a diverse range of companies. Those presenting and/or showcasing range from seed stage companies to those seeking Series A investment. They have been selected to represent the range of business opportunities from the wider creative industries. This showcase is an opportunity to get an insight into the UK industry and its dynamics regionally and nationally.
