Rail Alliance networking event on electrification

The Rail Alliance is holding an event on 7 September in Hatfield.

The event will explore the emerging strategy for the rail network into CP6 and how the supply chain can engage and deliver against its challenge.

With 40% of the UK rail network electrified, the case for extending this has been one of considerable discussion.  A rolling electrification programme needs to consider smarter ways of generating, storing and using energy as well as the improvement of the electrification infrastructure.

A cross-cutting theme for rolling stock and infrastructure products and businesses, the Rail Alliance electrification networking seminars have always sparked informative discussion and delivered high quality business-to-business contact.

Hosted this time by Mitsubishi Electric at their prestigious UK headquarters, this half-day event is free to all current Rail Alliance members; non-members are welcome but please note that such bookings are subject to a fee of £100+VAT per person.
