Supporting the Agile Development of SMEs in the Security and Defence Sectors - Fri 21 Sep, Cranfield

The KTN Defence and Security Advisory Board will be holding an event in Cranfield on 21st September to help SMEs.

 

The KTN Defence and Security Advisory Board has been set up to build new links and encourage more engagement across the UK innovation network; bridging the gaps between the defence and security science and technology research community, and the wider UK technology supply base. Through its activities, the goal of the group is to help increase science and technology-based innovation leading to new products, services, processes and techniques in the defence and security sectors, and to increase the UK’s capabilities and competitiveness in this area. The Board provides a forum for engagement across government, industry and academia regarding innovation in defence and security.

Businesses from all sectors are welcome to attend and find new opportunities, whether or not you’re already involved in defence and security.

The D&S Board recognise that agile development can be challenging for SMEs in the defence and security marketplace and you have the opportunity to join them in a workshop designed to capture the challenges faced in key areas including:

• Access to investment
• Building key relationships

At our event on 21st September at Cranfield University, you will hear from key individuals and organisations within the D&S landscape, have the opportunity to share your key challenges with the Advisory Board members via a short workshop session, and network over lunch with those that can assist you within the D&S sectors.
