Volunteers wanted to contribute to an EPSRC study exploring suitable aviation biofuel technologies
Share your thoughts and opinions on the UK aviation biofuel sector.
Heriot-Watt University School of Social Sciences is looking for volunteers to participate in an interview for a project called Assessing UK Sustainable Aviation Biofuel Production Technologies.
This is a part of a larger project that aims to produce low carbon jet fuels through integration of novel technologies for co-valorisation of CO2 and biomass (EP/N009924/1).
The key objectives of the interview are to gather views and opinions from various stakeholders on UK aviation biofuel sector.  The researchers are looking at three main areas:
- what are the key barriers and opportunities for commercial development, deployment and consumption of sustainable aviation fuels?
- what are the key criteria that need to be considered when evaluating/prioritising the competing conversion pathways for specific stakeholders?
- how can policy be shaped to foster this new industry
The study will take approximately 60 minutes.  If the interviewee is unable to meet, the interview can be conducted via Skype.
