Innovate UK is inviting UK SMEs developing collaborative international research and innovation projects in Eureka, across advanced manufacturing and electronic components and systems to submit an expression of interest for a supported Eureka cohort visit to Vienna.
The cohort visit will support a group of up to 15 SMEs to attend two Eureka events in Vienna from 6 to 8 October. Participants will meet potential international partners, refine collaborative project ideas and receive expert guidance to help them progress towards the relevant Xecs and SMART Eureka funding calls (Xecs Call 6 and/or SMART Call 10).
The visit aims to increase successful UK participation in Eureka by supporting SMEs to build international partnerships and develop strong project proposals. Support will be provided to the group before, during and after the visit to help participants understand Eureka, identify their opportunities within it, and provide guidance for submission of proposals.
Innovate UK Business Connect will arrange and cover the cost of return flights and hotel accommodation for successful applicants. The cohort group will be joined by the UK’s Eureka National Project Coordinator and an Innovate UK Business Connect European Programmes Knowledge Transfer Manager, to provide support in person.
