Amy Romaniuk
Knowledge Transfer Manager – Emerging & Enabling Technologies
As a Knowledge Transfer Manager, I am part of the Emerging and Enabling Technologies team, which aims to accelerate the adoption of new and disruptive technologies by connecting researchers and technology developers with industry and end user sectors. I have experience across various sectors including pharma, life sciences, engineering and computational modelling, and have worked in both academic and industrial settings.
I have a particular interest in the commercialisation and adoption of innovative technologies, as well as experience in market analysis and market development of novel products. I have previously worked in business development and commercial teams supporting the commercial development of novel therapeutics and diagnostics within the UK healthcare market.
I currently lead the neurotechnology activity within the Emerging and Enabling Technologies team and am eager to hear from researchers and technology developers working within neurotechnology and related fields.

Amy Romaniuk is part of Emerging Technologies.
Emerging Technologies are those technologies that are still largely held by the research base or in recently formed start-up companies. However, these technologies are disruptive and can offer a step-change in efficiency or functionality over existing products. We have a broad remit, with projects involving the quantum sciences, medical technologies, infrastructure and transport; all involving early-stage technologies at a lower than usual TRL.
