Knowledge Transfer Adviser - West of Scotland
I am the Knowledge Transfer Adviser for the West of Scotland, responsible for developing and managing a portfolio of successful Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (KTPs) between business and academia. My nominated knowledge bases are Glasgow School of Art, Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, University of Glasgow, University of Strathclyde, and the University of the West of Scotland.
Prior to this role, I spent 10 years working in the Higher Education Sector. I held Business Development roles at the West of Scotland, and North of Scotland KTP Centres, promoting KTP and supporting the development of KTPs across a range of innovation areas, disciplines, and industry sectors, and led the Industry Partnerships team for the College of Medical, Veterinary and Life Sciences at the University of Glasgow. I hold a PhD in Pharmacology and have experience in both academic and industry research roles within the life sciences sector.
