As Head of AgriFood, I lead a team of sector experts covering the full range of the AgriFood supply chain, from ‘farm to fork’. We support a large network of AgriFood innovators, ranging from start-ups to large companies with a global presence, and also researchers and other key stakeholders. We help them to develop cutting-edge innovations to enable production of nutritious food more efficiently, and in a sustainable manner.

I have over 20 years of experience driving AgriFood innovation in the UK and internationally, using a broad range of mechanisms – but with a particular emphasis on helping people build the partnerships and access the funding and investment needed to accelerate their innovations.

I have extensive experience of the application of new technology (e.g. satellites, sensors, robotics etc) across the breadth of agriculture and food production, and particularly in livestock production. I hold a degree in Agriculture and PhD in Agricultural Technology Adoption.
