As a Knowledge Transfer Manager – Investor Communities – Net Zero, I support Innovate UK Business Connect to engage with private investors with the aim of unlocking capital into the UK’s Net Zero economy.

Before joining Innovate UK Business Connect, I worked for an advisory business supporting early-stage companies in their efforts to raise investment capital. This involved creating investment assets and general investor readiness preparation, managing raises; either live crowdfunding campaigns or through direct outreach to investors, as well as wider engagement with the founder community by producing educational content. I then transitioned to working in a VC investment role.

My role at Innovate UK Business Connect is to liaise with all stakeholders working to achieve Net Zero targets to support in creating the conditions necessary for increased private investment into this sector.
