As Investor Ecosystems Lead – Net Zero, I support Innovate UK Business Connect to engage with private investors with the aim of unlocking capital into the UK’s Net Zero economy.

Before joining Innovate UK Business Connect, I worked for an advisory business supporting early-stage companies in their efforts to raise investment capital. This involved creating investment assets and general investor readiness preparation, managing raises; either live crowdfunding campaigns or through direct outreach to investors, as well as wider engagement with the founder community by producing educational content. I then transitioned to working in a VC investment role.

My role at Innovate UK Business Connect is to supervise all Net Zero activities delivered by the investment team and to support with the team’s wider strategic directive.
