I oversee the transport innovation programme at Innovate UK Business Connect and work closely with partners at Innovate UK, Department for Transport (DfT), Office for Zero Emission Vehicles, Centre for Connected & Autonomous Vehicles, Network Rail, National Highways and UK SHORE.

The transport team can help you find the best solutions to your business challenges and connect you to those who aim to truly transform the future of transport. Our four strategic priorities are: Decarbonisation; Automation; Connected transport; Accessible & Inclusive Transport.

I also lead the sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) programme at Innovate UK Business Connect and have worked with the aviation industry for over 7 years to help them find the right expertise and customers. I initiated the UK SAF Clearing House Task Force and worked with DfT to write the business case for Europe’s first Clearing House for aviation fuel approval. More recently I completed a project for DfT to further define the operational model and scope of a UK SAF Clearing House.

I also worked with DfT to set up the Jet Zero Council SAF Delivery Group and play a key role in its delivery and shaping the strategic direction.
