Urszula Kapoulas​

I’m a Senior Project Manager within the Strategic Portfolio Office at Innovate UK Business Connect. My main programme of work is the development and delivery of the different aspects of the No Limits Mission, which is focusing on equality, diversity and inclusion in innovation.

For the past 10 years, I worked in the health and social care sector at the West of England Academic Health Science Network, supporting adoption of innovation at pace and scale into the NHS. During my time at the Network, I developed my expertise in establishment and delivery of open innovation programmes, innovation networks, partnership cross-sector initiatives, regional enterprise growth, business development mechanisms, and funding and training opportunities. Most recently I focused on managing activities that involved working with people with lived experience and engagement methods between local health community and innovators to articulate, as well as respond to the clinical priorities in the region.

Prior to my time at the NHS, I worked in the academic sector developing engagement channels and business relations at the Institute of Bio-sensing Technology.

My professional qualifications include MSc in Business Management from the University of Bath and BSc in Politics from the University of the West of England, Bristol.
