The programme also helped the company establish discussions with a potential distribution partner, explore two pilot projects worth an estimated £20,000 and begin developing a new product solution for a specific client.

The programme also provided early visibility of regulatory and certification requirements that could affect future commercialisation. By identifying these challenges before making major investments, Polysolar was able to develop a clearer and more informed market-entry strategy. The company is now exploring a dedicated presence in New Zealand through a future Country Manager role, reflecting the confidence generated through programme participation.

For agricultural biotechnology company SugaROx, Innovate UK’s AgriTech USA Global Incubator Programme in partnership with SVG Ventures | THRIVE delivered a different form of impact. The company entered the programme looking to strengthen its position in the United States following the signing of a strategic partnership with a global fertiliser company.

Through programme masterclasses and market-access sessions, SugaROx gained valuable regulatory clarity that confirmed its product could be launched immediately in California. This insight removed uncertainty around a key commercial hurdle and potentially saved months of independent investigation.

The programme also helped revive an existing corporate relationship and facilitated introductions to influential figures within the US biostimulants sector, including contacts made through the Salinas Biological Summit. These connections have provided a stronger foundation as SugaROx prepares for future growth, including commercial expansion, fundraising and new leadership appointments.
