The European Commission funds many research and innovation EU projects. KTN can help you access this funding.
The funding is delivered through Horizon 2020, a research and innovation programme with nearly 80 billion euros in funding. The European Commission created Horizon 2020 to ensure that Europe produces world-class science, removes barriers to innovation and makes it easier for the public and private sectors to work together to deliver innovation. The ultimate goal is to drive economic growth and create jobs.
Each EU project looks at a different area of research and innovation and is made up of a consortium of partners from across Europe. These partners have specific experience and knowledge to support and drive the project(s) they are involved in. KTN has many experts in innovation and research in its teams. KTN gets involved when its experts are a good fit for an EU project.

Here are the current projects that KTN is currently involved in:
RCT4MANU – Randomised Control Trials (RCTs) for Manufacturing
Test an innovative support scheme for manufacturing SMEs and accelerate the use of Randomised Control Trials (RCTs) in innovation agencies
Its mission – To support SMEs in the very current topic of “Industry 4.0”: in particular to tackle the “diffusion” & adoption of industrial digitisation technologies (IDTs) by manufacturing SMEs. Another key part of the programme is to disseminate learnings about RCTs across the EU to enable other innovation agencies likewise to experiment, using an evidence-based approach, and ultimately deliver more effective innovation support which provides the best value for money.
Its partners – Innovate UK and KTN Ltd.
