Global Innovation Networks
Introduction to Global Innovation Networks
The Global Innovation Networks foster and strengthen collaborations and partnerships between Innovate UK Business Connect’s established networks and priority sector thematic challenges in Kenya, Nigeria and South Africa. These Innovation Networks are crucial for addressing some of the world’s most pressing challenges.
By working together, they can leverage the expertise and resources of multiple organisations and experts across continents to create innovative solutions that can have significant impact on global sustainability.
The Networks will be set up for Kenya in Agriculture and Food Security, and Health; South Africa in Energy, and Waste and Water Management; and Nigeria in Energy, Digital and Creatives, and Circular Economy. Global Alliance Africa aims to enhance the movement of information, innovation and investment in these sectors, identify and map key stakeholders, build an advisory group and design a vision and a roadmap for execution.
Activities include Sector-Based Networks, Roadmap Building, Funding Activities, Documented Case Studies, and UK-Africa Collaborations.
