To reach Net Zero, the decarbonisation of buildings and estates needs to be a priority as heating these 30 million homes and workplaces contributes to up to a third of the UK emissions. Local Authorities have great influence over the impact these could have and will play a vital role for the UK to meet the Net Zero targets.
