The system putting social value at the heart of supply chains
Growing up in Ireland, Aoise was inspired by her parents’ work ethic and recognised the transformative effect that businesses can have on their communities. She met her co-founder after moving to London and together they created Supply Change.
Their mission is to solve the lack of social suppliers in public and private sector supply chains, by increasing visibility and accessibility. This will help social and environmental businesses generate more B2B income and change how procurement happens.
Aoise is particularly interested in the effects of local wealth building and public expenditure as a source of impact.
“I co-founded Supply Change to help create the systems that allow spending to be easily directed to impact-driven organisations. Spending with impact businesses can make a real difference to the lives of people in communities and also create savings to society. Our vision is to become the go-to place for organisations looking to find mission-driven suppliers and to put social value at the heart of public and private supply chains,” she says.
