The problem and opportunity
Important governance decisions are made every day in meetings, but the way they are recorded has not kept pace with organisational demands. Leaders, boards and teams often rely on time-consuming manual processes to demonstrate compliance. Scriba helps capture what matters more accurately and consistently, while enabling clearer insights, actionable intelligence and stronger decision-making.
The solution and innovation
Scriba is an AI-enabled meeting platform that creates structured outputs, including minutes, action logs and governance-ready records. Designed around the real needs of boards and leadership teams, it combines AI automation with sector-specific workflows, helping organisations turn discussions into reliable records faster and more consistently, while reducing administrative workload and supporting staff wellbeing.
Market and ambition
Scriba already supports over 700 schools and multi-academy trusts, and has been described as a game-changer by governance professionals and senior leaders. It is now ready to scale into adjacent sectors facing similar administrative and compliance demands, building trusted partnerships around secure, easy-to-use tools.
Founder perspective
Alison founded Scriba after seeing the time and resources required to managing meetings across complex organisations. With more than 20 years’ experience in the education sector, she is committed to building technology that reduces administrative workload, strengthens governance and maximises available resources.
