The problem and opportunity
England’s social care sector faces a workforce crisis (111K vacancies and 24.7% annual turnover). When social care workers are unwell or leave, hospitals can’t discharge patients (13,000 remain in hospital daily, occupying 13% of beds, costing the NHS £2bn annually). Existing workplace health tools are reactive and ignore root causes driving instability, which the Keep Britain Working Review puts at an annual cost of £212bn in economic inactivity.
The solution and innovation
Our platform combines healthcare expertise with workforce health data, analysing 100+ health, culture and operational indicators, uniquely including women’s health data absent from other tools and supporting Care Quality Commission compliance. We’re building machine learning to predict long-term health risks and enable preventative interventions, reducing disease burden. Validated through paid pilots, demonstrating anxiety reductions from 40% to 28%.
Market and ambition
We are currently working with the private social care sector in England (1 million employees), completing pilots with local providers in this area, and are building towards national deployment. Over the next two to three years, we plan to scale our platform, extending into the NHS and other regulated sectors.
