The problem and opportunity
Healthcare learners need repeated, realistic consultation practice, but universities and training providers rely on costly, staff-intensive simulation that is difficult to scale and inconsistent to assess. This limits access, increases faculty workload and leaves graduates underprepared. MedAscend addresses this gap with scalable practice and standardised feedback, supporting workforce readiness and productivity priorities.
The solution and innovation
MedAscend enables healthcare learners to practise realistic AI patient consultations with instant, standardised feedback. Our proprietary dataset of over 5 million educational data points and validated assessment engine create a defensible platform designed specifically for healthcare education. The platform has already supported over 10,000 consultations with strong learner outcomes and high agreement with human examiners.

MedAscend targets universities, healthcare systems and professional training bodies globally. The platform has supported over 10,000 consultations, with pilots and Universities onboarded across the UK, US, Middle East and Latin America. Over the next three years, we aim to become a leading global provider of AI clinical simulation.
Founder perspective
As a final-year medical student, Hana founded MedAscend after experiencing first-hand how limited access to realistic clinical practice affects learner confidence and preparedness. Hanna’s clinical training and experience building the platform uniquely position her to develop technology that addresses real educational needs.
