The problem and opportunity
Many UK manufacturers have made progress in digitising production, but packing, staging and transport planning often still operate in silos. This “dispatch disconnect” can create rehandling, idle time, wasted packaging and underfilled vehicles, increasing costs and emissions. Existing factory systems typically manage individual processes but rarely coordinate decisions across the full production-to-dispatch workflow.
The solution and innovation
TCS-i’s Adaptive Intelligence Engine connects production, loading and dispatch decisions through modular APIs that work with existing factory systems. It uses operational outcomes to continuously refine future recommendations, creating a self-improving decision loop. This helps manufacturers generate practical, explainable plans that adapt to changing production and logistics conditions.
Market and ambition
We are initially targeting UK manufacturing SMEs and mid-market firms with complex outbound logistics. With an active pilot and channel partner already in place, we plan to scale industrial deployments and recurring API revenue over the next two to three years, targeting more than £1.2 million in annual recurring revenue.
Founder perspective
As a female founder with expertise in logistics, supply chain and transport optimisation, Jing Lyu combines analytical depth with product leadership. She leads AIE algorithm and platform design, turning operational challenges into practical, explainable systems that industrial users can trust and adopt.
