The problem and opportunity
Clean-energy developers, networks, investors and public bodies need faster, more confident planning decisions. Critical grid, land, policy, demand and project data is fragmented, making this difficult. Existing maps, spreadsheets and consultancy reports show parts of the picture, but rarely how the whole system connects. This slows viable projects, increases risk and limits progress towards net zero and energy security.
The solution and innovation
Olsights Eye is a proprietary digital intelligence platform that connects clean-energy projects, infrastructure, markets, policy and supply chains into one whole-system view. Built through industry collaboration, including Ofgem Strategic Innovation Fund (SIF)-backed work with SSEN Transmission, it uses reusable workflows, visual analytics and commercial scoring to reveal interdependencies and help teams prioritise opportunities faster.
Market and ambition
Olsights serves developers, suppliers, utilities and investors across grid, storage, hydrogen, Carbon Capture, Utilisation and Storage (CCUS) and renewables. Repeat business and early-adopter traction validate demand as we scale recurring subscriptions and develop AI-native search, reporting and insight-generation capability.
Founder perspective
Rosie Griffiths is a process engineer turned creative director with 20+ years across energy, technology and design. As co-founder of Olsights, she is helping build inclusive digital tools that give more people the confidence to plan, invest in and deliver a cleaner energy future.
