Elinor Doubell

Elinor is a senior advisor and former Global VP of Digital Science at bp with a career focused on unlocking the commercial potential of emerging technologies. Her leadership experience spans from global digital transformation to disruptive technology development in the manufacturing and energy sectors where she has advised at FTSE100 board level.

Elinor’s work is now focused on supporting SMEs through the challenges of creating value from disruptive technology especially in the areas of corporate partnership, digital strategy and technology innovation and in operational environments.

Her executive sponsorship and coaching of Deep Tech startups have helped secure multimillion pound investment and successful corporate collaborations with academia and start-ups in areas including AI, robotics and autonomy, drawing on her background as a chartered physicist.

She has also led global digital transformation and organisational design initiatives and favours an approach that concentrates on empathy, creating of clarity and encouraging creativity.

In her spare time Elinor likes to get creative herself by doing garden design and playing the clarinet with friends in local musical ensembles. As a very retired runner, she also enjoys yoga, Pilates and walks with friends and family.
