Batteries Fortnight 2022 - a series of online opportunities for the batteries industry

Innovate UK KTN is running Batteries Fortnight from 24 January to 4th February 2022, with events ranging from the launch of an Investment Readiness Programme to a week-long US-UK summit focusing on battery technologies.

Launch of the Faraday Battery Challenge Investment Readiness Programme

Last year Innovate UK and Innovate UK KTN ran the first Faraday Battery Challenge Investment Readiness Programme. It was so successful, with every single SME in the 2021 cohort seeing a positive outcome ranging from investment to partnership opportunities, that a second cohort will be put through their paces in a new 2022 Programme.
If you’re a UK-based SME in the electric vehicle battery sector and want to be a part of the Programme, attend the launch event to find out more. Just 15 SMEs will be selected and will learn to hone their pitch to investors and get a better understanding of the funding cycle.
US-UK battery technology research and innovation online summit

Following a commitment by the US President and UK Prime Minister to strengthen science and technology collaboration between the UK and the US, this week long series of webinars will bring together industry and research from across the two nations.
The Summit will explore potential areas of cooperation in sustainable supply chains, safety and regulations will build transatlantic relationships for the future.

Quantum for batteries: opportunities and synergies
