Connecting chemistry-led businesses with funding and support from the investment community
UK based companies working with chemistry based IP can apply to pitch to investors, syndicates, angel groups and VCs at an RSC and UKBAA event.
The Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC) has formed a partnership with the UK Business Angels Association (UKBAA) to connect chemical science entrepreneurs with potential investors.
Chemistry-led innovation provides an attractive opportunity area for early-stage investors due to its diverse applications across a wide variety of sectors, including life sciences, energy, transport, construction, and personal care products. The UKBAA is the national trade association for angel and early-stage investment, representing over 160 member organisations and around 18,000 investors.
RSC and UKBAA are hosting a¬† joint event on “The Investment Catalyst: A showcase of chemistry-led innovation for the angel investment community” on 18 April 2018 in London, to provide selected companies with the opportunity to pitch to UKBAA‚Äôs community¬†of investors, syndicates, angel groups and VCs.¬†The offer includes¬†pitch training.
The deadline to apply to pitch is 28th February 2018.
