Overview
The Circular Bio-based Europe Joint Undertaking (CBE JU) is a €2 billion partnership between the European Union and the Bio-based Industries Consortium (BIC) that funds projects that advance competitive circular bio-based industries in Europe. CBE JU is operating under the rules of Horizon Europe, the EU’s research and innovation programme, for the 2021-2031 period.
CBE JU has published its Annual work programme for 2024, including information about the next call for project proposals where €213 million will be dedicated to advancing competitive circular bio-based industries in Europe across 18 topics.
Why should you watch?
The UK National Contact Point and representatives of the CBE-JU will give you detailed information on the areas of funding in the Annual Work Programme for 2024. This will be an opportunity for you to start thinking about which call topics are relevant to you to start planning and building your consortia for the next round of submissions. Attendees also had the opportunity to present their technology offer in line with the priorities of the CBU-JU Annual Work Programme for 2024.
