Quantum Technologies in Australia 2024
Innovate UK in collaboration with UK Science and Innovation Network (UK SIN) delivered a Global Expert Mission (GEM) to Australia in February 2024, bringing together key stakeholders from both countries to exchange knowledge and showcase developments in quantum technologies.

The primary aim of the Quantum Technologies GEM to Australia was to engage with key stakeholders in the Australian quantum technologies sector, including academic institutions, research organisations, startups, and government bodies. The mission sought to understand the landscape of quantum technology research and development in Australia, identify areas of strength and opportunity, and explore avenues for bilateral collaboration that could accelerate the development and commercialisation of quantum technologies.
The scope of the Innovate UK Quantum Technologies GEM to Australia in February 2024 was meticulously designed to explore the quantum technologies sector, one of the most promising and rapidly evolving fields of scientific and technological advancement. This mission was particularly geared towards understanding the current landscape, identifying opportunities for collaboration, and showcasing UK capabilities in quantum technologies.
