About the RESILIENCE Medicines Manufacturing Skills Centre of Excellence
Funded by the Office for Life Sciences, part of the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology, RESILIENCE serves as a central, coordinated hub for workforce skills, training, and outreach. Our mission is to support sustainable workforce growth by increasing the pipeline of workplace-ready talent in the medicines manufacturing sector.

Join us for an online workshop where you’ll have the chance to hear from Co-Director Ivan Wall, Gary Lye and colleagues, as they share insights into how the Centre aims to coordinate, develop, and deliver training courses for the UK medicines manufacturing community. This includes collaboration with industry, the NHS, and educational providers.
Engage in an interactive session where we’ll collectively envision the workforce roadmap toward a fully digital and automated industry, as an example of how RESILIENCE can tackle future needs of the industry. We’ll explore industry perspectives, identify challenges and gaps, and discuss emerging opportunities. The event will conclude with an open discussion and Q&A session.
