Driving Innovation through Talent: Industry Skills Accelerator for Medicines Manufacturing
Join our online session to explore how the Industry Skills Accelerator and other initiatives support skills development in UK Medicines Manufacturing.
About the Industry Skills Accelerator
The Industry Skills Accelerator (ISA) was established in August 2024 by the Cell and Gene Therapy Catapult, CPI and Cogent Skills to complement the RESILIENCE Medicines Manufacturing Skills Centre of Excellence, providing support to apprentices through the Advanced Therapies Apprentice Community (ATAC), developing training on advanced nucleic acid therapeutics, and connecting the SMEs to RESILIENCE training opportunities to enable their growth.
The Office for Life Sciences has allocated £6.5m to enhance the UK’s Medicines Manufacturing ecosystem. This funding is being implemented through RESILIENCE, the Medicines Manufacturing Skills Centre of Excellence and the Industry Skills Accelerator (ISA) Together, these initiatives aim to support organisations with their skills development and training requirements.
