Climate-Smart Agriculture Partnership Scoping Projects Announced
The Innovate UK Climate-Smart Agriculture Partnership: UK-Brazil-Africa is bringing innovative people and organisations together through a range of initiatives starting with Scoping Projects. Twelve Scoping Projects will build networks between the UK, Brazil, Ghana, and Nigeria. The projects will identify opportunities for collaboration and knowledge sharing to develop technologies and practices that promote climate-smart agriculture solutions for sustainable food production systems in Ghana and Nigeria.
Through 12 Scoping Projects led by UK universities and research and technology organisations, opportunities for collaboration and knowledge sharing will be identified. They will deliver collaborative networking activities to build a diverse network of stakeholders that develop productive research and innovation partnerships; and identify technology gaps with an opportunity to implement innovative collaborations that can lead to developing, commercialising, or scaling a technology.
Today, we are pleased to share the Scoping Project winners:
- A trilateral network for agroforestry and integrated regenerative landscape management to support climate resilient development and food security led by the University of York and Bangor University
