Centre for Ageing Better’s Communication team shared the learning and resources included in their latest toolkit: Challenging Ageism: A guide to talking about ageing and older age.

The session also included presentations from two Healthy Ageing Challenge projects sharing their experiences of ageism in their work.

At this workshop, Julia Glenn – Design Innovation Lead in UKRI’s Healthy Ageing Challenge team – shared easy and practical resources to apply data to real scenarios and people before a commercial investment is made.

This event, in partnership with Zinc, was for Community of Practice members exploring options for further funding and investment opportunities.

On 12 October, Innovate UK KTN Net Zero Places Innovation Network in partnership with the Net Zero Hubs (NZH) will host the fifth episode of the webinar series ‘Heating for Net Zero’ focusing on Technical modelling and exploring the value of modelling at all stages of design and retrofitting buildings.

On 28 September, Innovate UK KTN Net Zero Places Innovation Network in partnership with the Net Zero Hubs (NZH) will host the fourth episode of the webinar series ‘Heating for Net Zero’ trying to answer the question: how technologies can be brought together to achieve optimal heating and energy performance as well as decarbonisation?

On 14 September, Innovate UK KTN Net Zero Places Innovation Network in partnership with the Net Zero Hubs (NZH) will host the third episode of the webinar series ‘Heating for Net Zero’ exploring alternative energy sources to heating – in particular the applicability of biofuels, Hydrogen and other technologies like solar thermal.

Although mental health is widely recognised as a major disease burden, it does not receive the same level of attention or funding as diseases such as cancer or cardiovascular health.
