KTN launches new interactive Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) analysis
A new interactive tool has been developed by KTN to promote UK companies that could supply chemicals for a UK SAF industry.
KTN, supported and commissioned by Innovate UK, has conducted an analysis to support the growth of the UK’s sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) industry and support the ambitions of the Jet Zero Council.
This interactive analysis offers insight into the feedstock and technology pathways being utilised, and the chemical products and scale of production (TRL), to inform your supply chain development and showcase the UK’s potential in SAF.

The interactive analysis identifies companies that could support the development and growth of a UK SAF industry by producing chemicals and fuels for SAF supply.
What does the analysis include?
Companies that have the potential to support the growth of a UK Sustainable Aviation Industry. This includes:
- Feedstocks being used
- Processes being developed
- Products being produced
- Estimated TRL level
This tool will continue to improve and evolve over time, capturing the UK Sustainable Aviation Fuel industry as it continues to develop. Companies that produce chemicals and fuels relevant to Sustainable Aviation Fuel that are not listed are invited to notify KTN for inclusion by completing this form.
The interactive analysis allows users to search and filter by feedstock, process and product.
